ABOUT
Dr. Sophia Wang is a glaucoma specialist at Stanford University, Byers Eye Institute. She completed her residency training at the University of Michigan, Kellogg Eye Center, before pursuing her fellowship in glaucoma at Stanford and joining the faculty thereafter. Dr Wang specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of patients with all types of glaucoma, which a progressive, potentially blinding disease affecting the optic nerve. She is also a researcher in “big data” for Ophthalmology, and is highly experienced integrating many different types of datasets into research investigating ophthalmology healthcare delivery and outcomes.
