Anjal Jain is a junior in the Classical Voice Conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts. She started learning Hindustani Classical Music at the young age of 5, and performed at the Grand Finale of “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil’ Champs”, a worldwide known singing reality TV show featured on Zee TV. Recently, she performed a 2 hour solo debut for Indian Classical Dance (Bharata Natyam), and fundraised $2,567 towards the betterment of visually impaired individuals. Anjal Jain founded Eye Matter after witnessing the hardships of one of her family members who has Retinitis Pigmentosa. More about the creation of Eye Matter can be found here. She hopes that Eye Matter will be able to help visually impaired individuals nationwide, so that they do not have to face the same obstacles her loved one had to experience daily.
